Auto Reply is for quick rules: welcome, keywords, escalation. It is not a substitute for Flow Builder on long paths, or approved templates for broadcast.
Quick rules — controls
- Quick rules tab vs link to visual Flow Builder.
- One welcome per number — do not dual-run Flow Builder welcome.
- Rule name, trigger, keywords, match mode, reply type.
- Variable buttons: name / last message / phone. Use Preview before save.
Create steps
- Connect the number and enable the bot first.
- Open WhatsApp Tools → Auto Reply.
- Fill name, trigger, keywords, and reply text — then save.
- Test from a real number.
